Philippines Mission Trip Summary
The Lord wants a relationship with us (more than we want one with Him)
He had to get me out of my normal everyday environment to really get some quality time with me
To reset His vision for me and TCF Church
Relationship builders: time, conversation, contemplation of conversations (reflection), experiences (memories to ponder)
Pictures help spark memories
Spending time with God
Reading the Word or letting the Word read me
Praying in tongues and English
Meditating the Word/ Practicing His word (application)
Journaling and conversating with God
Teaching God’s character to people/ Who is God?
Love, mercy, grace
Acts 8:4-6 - New King James Version
4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. 5 Then Philip went down to [a]the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Acts 8:34-36 - New King James Version
34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”
Acts 8:37-39 - New King James Version
37 [a]Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”
And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
My Experiences:
Listener in the crowd: Sat in front, students take notes 39 pages, study to show thyself approved workman, be ready in season and out of season
Bishop Ray 61 years in ministry

Pastor David & Jane Patterson 40 yrs serving the Lord
Teacher- my time before the Lord preparing, praying in tongues
Imagining the crowd, visions of the Lord showing up
Seeing and feeling the hunger of the people wanting more of God
The expectation and faith God was going to show up and do a mighty work
Minister of the anointing: Altar calls every service
People rushing to the front of the altar to meet God
The anointing showing up and showing out (people going down quick)
Prayed over the praise & Worship team (fell in the Spirit)
Preaching the 2nd conference and only 2 people left standing the whole church on the ground under the power of the anointing of God (just like I envisioned it)
Word of Knowledge, word of wisdom, casting out demons, grown men crying on my shoulder (freedom in Christ)
Receiving the anointing: I was giving everything I had, not holding back
I ran to the altar on my knees, stepping over people to get to the front (bugs)
Lost my voice Saturday night praying over people, and I wasn’t even the one preaching
Bishop’s son Pastor David ran up on me and prayed for me (I fell out)
When I got up only one down, people were praying in a big circle around me
Then they started to ask delegates to lay hands on their Pastor (Bernadette running through the crowd to get to me)
She laid her hands on my shoulder and was praying
A release of burdens left me (I cried like a baby)
The Lord was dealing with me about sowing and reaping
I give and I give and I give to people, but I need to stop and learn to receive from people not trying to do everything on my own (TCF Church)
Everything in Life is sowing and reaping
Love, joy, peace, forgiveness (you plant you harvest)
Commitment to Christ/ Things I saw that I want for us
Freedom to come to the Altar (meet God)
The Joy of the Lord is their strength (Typhoon, funerals)
Freedom to dance like David danced (unabandoned worship, not being too dignified)
