MORNING PRAYER

VIRTUAL SERMON

SERMON NOTES:

Talk Hope & Faith

Introduction:

  • Get my people to talk Hope & Faith

  • Get some HOPE in God’s Word (promises are our armor)

    • SAY what God Says (train yourself to only say)

  • Turn that promise of Hope into Faith

    • In order for that promise to show up in a person’s life they must speak, talk, SAY their faith

  • The heart (core, the real you) of a man/woman is where faith is formed.

    • Then it is released into the physical realm with faith-filled words

  • Once God’s words are released in faith, His power is released to fulfill that promise on the earth

Psalm 119:89 - New King James Version

89 Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.

  • What is settled in heaven, we are to establish here on the earth

2 Corinthians 1:20 - Amplified Bible

20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.

Ephesians 1:16-18 - Amplified Bible

16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. 18 And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the [a]hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the [b]saints (God’s people),

  • I hear God’s voice behind the verse, it talks back to me

    • Insight into His purposes (spiritual revelation)

    • Understanding of spiritual things (wisdom on situation)

      • What’s really going on behind the scenes (spiritual truth)

Joshua 1:8 - Amplified Bible

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be [a]successful.

  • Biblical Meditation -  Worry in reverse

  • Roll around in your head, mutter, say it out loud to yourself

  • This is how I memorize so many scriptures

    • You meditate the promise (God’s Word) over the problem

    • Get to the point where you believe God’s promise more than the circumstances

    • Walk by faith not by sight/ truth that you know shall set you free

Romans 4:18-21 - New Living Translation

18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”[a19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.

20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

  • Never stop hoping

  • Make God’s word personal to you (God said to me)

  • Faith grows stronger by praising God for the promise

    • You begin to be convinced yourself

    • You don’t let anyone talk you out of it

    • This is how Abraham turned his hope into faith

2 Corinthians 4:13-15 - New King James Version

13 And since we have the same spirit of faith (David), according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

  • May cause more testimony to bring more people to Christ (Glory)

    • Answered prayer brings more glory to God

Demonstration:  Take a problem find the promise (Hope) speak hope until it becomes faith filled words releasing God’s power here on the earth.
