Remedy for a Demon

Cross is the remedy for the flesh

The name of Jesus is the remedy for a demon

Philippians 2:8-10 - New Living Translation

8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

Galatians 3:13-14 - New Living Translation

13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”[a] 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised[b] Holy Spirit through faith.

After we cast these unclean spirits out, shut the door they came through
Be filled with the Holy Spirit (ask Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Spirit)

Unhealed wounds, lost innocence, abandonment, accidents (oaths, swore in our hurt) ex. I will never get married, I will never be vulnerable- Forgive by name outloud
Sinful habits (lying, swearing, pornography, little drinking & smoking) (open door to spirit of addiction) Repent not remorse

Ephesians 4:26-27 - Amplified Bible

26 Be angry [at sin—at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], yet do not sin; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. 27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness].

Foothold- territory- (take this territory back)
Foothold can become a stronghold

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - New Living Translation

Occult & witchcraft- Renounce (spirit of divination opens door to spirit of confusion)

Trying to see future or know things without God

Unforgiveness hands you over to the Tormentors/ Bitterness / Hatred- Forgive (doesn’t mean you have to have relationship with them) Release their debt transfer their case to the Lord into the heavenly courts
Receive healing almost immediately after forgiveness

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him

Certain sins open doors for demons to the next generations

Occult involvement, sexual sins, drinking blood

Acts 15:29 - New Living Translation

29 You must abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. If you do this, you will do well. Farewell.”

Prayer to shut the door, then Ask Holy Spirit to fill up the rooms where the demons occupied.
