Win the Battle of the Mind
Romans 12:1-3 - New King James Version
12 I beseech[a] you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your [b]reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God: Hebrews 10:17
The Word is alive (you don’t read the word, let the word read you: Hebrews 4:12
The Word is Jesus in word form (get to know your Savior: John 1:1
Proverbs 4:20-24 - New King James Version
20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a [a]deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you.
Feed your thought life good thoughts (God thoughts)
Eyes, ears, mouth- it will get into your hearts (produce LIFE)
Matthew 16:18-20 - New King James Version
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not [a]prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth [b]will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.
How do you know what you are able to bind or take authority over?
If it is not permitted in heaven, go ahead and bind it (take authority)
BUT just don’t bind unlawful things; you must loose what is lawful in heaven (replace the bad with the good)
Examples: (depression-joy, fear-love, poverty-abundance, sickness-health, confusion-wisdom, condemnation-righteousness, anxiety (doubt)-peace
Joshua 1:8 - New King James Version
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[a] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Eastern Religions meditation very dangerous- empty out their minds, let it go
Invite evil spirits in with incense, yoga positions to worship other gods
Exercise your minds and thought life on God’s word (active/ Faith action)
Get your Reps, repetition fill your soul with God’s word
